Spicy Jalapeno and Chipotle Coleslaw

Not all slaw is created equal. The spicy, yet tangy, flavor sets this coleslaw apart from the rest. Best of all this man food is healthy! Yes, that's right. Absent the mayo, this Spicy Jalapeno and Chipotle Coleslaw is refreshing and light. Anton Jackson would be so proud! (There is a little trivia for you, comment if you know what I'm referring to)

Bruschetta with Tomato and Basil

An appetizer whose origin dates back to the 15th century. These simple appetizers are also known as fettunta in Tuscany, which means "oiled slices". The raw nature of all the ingredients make the bruschetta a refreshing and healthy appetizer. In addition to fresh basil and tomato, extra-virgin olive oil is a great source of monounsaturated fat which is linked to reducing heart disease. Even though this is a healthy appetizer, it should still be considered man eats.

Healthy Chili

This is by far my favorite chili recipe. In its original form it calls for beef, but add a nice amount of ground turkey and you will never know the difference. And it will make it a bit more healthy. Besides that the veggies in this recipe are plentiful and delicious. Its almost a feel good chili. So when its time for that Sunday football party you can pig out on chili, and not feel too bad about it. My tip on this one..... don't be a wimp with the chili powder, give it a little spice!
